ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul writes of the gifts of the Spirit. At the very end of the chapter, he says that we should "earnestly desire" these gifts, but concludes with this: "Now let me show you a way of life that is best of all." We then read in Chapter 13 that what is more important than all else is living a life filled with sacrificial love. When it comes to following God, are we focused on seeking out exciting experiences and impressive signs of the Lord's presence, or are we cultivating a consistent and deep love & faith in Him in our inner life? Paul states that without love, all else means nothing. Love between ourselves & God and ourselves & others is the only thing that will remain forever.
"Three things that will last forever- faith, hope, and love- and the greatest of these is love."

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- This Sunday we're having church at Festival Square! We realized we had previously been giving you the wrong start time, so here's the right info: THE SERVICE WILL BE STARTING AT 10:30 AM! Chairs and water will be provided, and The Gate Church will be open for washroom use! We hope to see you there!
- Tuesday evening prayer is starting back up tonight! Join us here at OLC at 7:00 pm to be a part of covering our church and city in prayer.
- Unfortunately we had some technical difficulties on Sunday and the audio and video from the message didn't record and therefore won't be available. We have fixed the problem and apologize for this!
- The office will be closed next Monday, August 7th.
- Remember, if you have a testimony to share, send us a 2-3 minute video of yourself telling it (info@onelifechurch.ca), and we'd love to share it at one of our Sunday services!
