MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
As Pastor Wayne has been talking about, we all need each other, and each of us has a special spot to fill in the Body of Christ! In light of this, we are going to use this space for the next while to highlight the different ways we are blessed by those who serve here at OLC!
Today we're putting the spotlight on our
Children's Ministry Team!
Every Sunday, Pastor Mitchell and his incredible team faithfully serve the church by investing in our little ones, taking the time to love them, play with them, and teach them about God! We know from our own experience as kids that Sunday school teachers have such a big impact on children's lives, and we want to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you for giving your time and care to the kids you teach. You are helping to shape their lives and show the love of Jesus to them!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Our Seniors Connect invites you to come out to a Fraud Seminar that they have planned for this Thursday at 2:00 pm! If you feel you could benefit from learning how to protect yourself from the many scams that we face online and over the phone these days, join us as the Lethbridge Police comes to OLC to help us out in this area. There will be a time of coffee and connecting afterward, so bring a small plate of goodies to share!
- Our new youth groups have begun! "New Roots," for grades 6-9, happens on Thursdays at 7:00 pm, and our older group, "Deeper Roots" for grade 10 to age 22, takes place on Sunday nights at 7:00 pm! We're excited about the direction we're going with these groups this year!
- We want your bottles! If you would like to support our youth groups and help them to be able to cover event and activity costs, an easy way you can contribute is by bringing your recyclable bottles to church! If you prefer to bring them in during the week or have someone pick them up from your house, talk to Pastor Mitchell!
- Along with the three Men's Connect Groups we have going on, we also have a Men's Group happening on Monday evenings called "Men of War." This group exists for you to find the tools, resources, and support you need to overcome in areas in your life that are keeping you down. Whatever it is you're struggling with, this is a safe place to find healing and freedom together with other men.
