ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
If we grew up in a Christian home or have been followers of God for a long time, it can be easy to forget what an incredible position we have in God! Take a moment to really think about it: God sent Jesus to die for all that we have done to separate ourselves from our perfect creator, and as a result, we must only accept His gift and give our lives to Him in order to be called His children and heirs! We have inherited our Father's blessings, both now and for all of eternity! Isn't that insane?? Thank you, Father, for all that you have done for us! Let us not forget.
"But to all who believed in Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God."

"Long Live The King" is coming to OLC THIS Friday, April 12th, at 7:00 pm! We're really excited about this event, and we hope that you'll come out! No tickets are required to get into this free concert, and earplugs will be provided for any who need them. We would love to see a full building, so come out for a great night! Mel Israelson is turning 80, and to celebrate there will be a come-and-go party for him this Sunday at the Israelsons' home! You are invited to come between 2:30 and 5:00 pm to celebrate Mel with cake, ice cream, and beverages! Directions to the Israelsons' home will be available in the Connect Hub on Sunday. *Mel has requested that you don't bring gifts!*

Our Man Up! Men's Conference is coming up on April 19th and 20th! Men, we invite you to come out for a great weekend of ministry, food, and fellowship! With guest speaker Lonnie Sims coming, along with wings and brisket being served, we know it will be an awesome time! Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in the Connect Hub.
- We invite you to participate in an upcoming fundraiser banquet for the World Missions Continuum Society, a ministry led by Dr. Al and Terry Purvis! The banquet is taking place on April 30th at 6:00 pm at Third Day Church, and will include a home-cooked Asian meal! Tickets are free, but space is limited, so make sure you get one from the Connect Hub if you would like to come! Check out their website HERE for more information on WMCS.
- Women's AGLOW is happening on April 26th-28th in Deer Valley Meadows, Alix, AB. The cost is $245 for the weekend, and registration is due on April 12th! For more information, you can talk to Bonny Wiebe at 403-892-3654!
