ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
In The Little Things
Now that we are in the final stretch of summer, we can often look back and see how quickly the time has passed. It can be a blur of outings, activities, adventures, etc. The transition time in August leading up to September can be a time of reminiscing on the past weeks of summer and wondering what the upcoming season will bring.
In these moments, it's a perfect time - the time in between looking back at the summer we've had, and looking forward towards the fall season - to remind ourselves of the little moments that can sometimes slip our minds. The small, sometimes seemingly insignificant things that are actually so important and amazing! That beautiful sunset that you saw the other evening; the impromptu chat you had with a friend that you hadn't seen in a while; or the smile that a stranger gave you as you passed them in the store.
Take time this week to reflect on some of the little blessings that God has given you these last few weeks. Thank Him for them. And as you continue through the rest of your summer, look for God working in the small things of everyday life. He is in those things as much as He is in the big things!

 OLC Thrive Young Adults will meet at the church for Bible Study this week. Friday evening @ 7:00 PM Talk to Caydence for more information!
OLC is having a Garage/Bake Sale to raise funds for the Ethiopia Missions Trip!
Friday, August 9 @ 3:00 PM & Saturday, August 10 @ 9:00 AM at One Life Church.
We are looking for nice donations, and tables will also be available for $30. All proceeds will go toward the mission trip to Ethiopia next year!
 There will be a special Daddy-Daughter Date Night at 6:30 PM on Thursday, August 22nd at One Life Church! A few of the churches in Lethbridge are joining together for "The Royal Butterfly Ball", so dads and daughters be sure to dress up and come out for the occasion!
