ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
How Great Is Our God
Throughout our week, there can be many things that can compete for our time and attention - many of them very good things!
Take a few moments today to meditate on the things that God has done for you this summer. It could be remembering the provision that He sent, reconciling a broken relationship, or just giving you a quiet word of encouragement in your heart the other day.
Psalm 77:11-12 says:
"I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds." (NIV)
A verse from a popular worship song says:
How great is our God
Sing with me, how great in our God
All will see how great, how great is our God!

When we are going through good times or hard times, remembering what God has done encourages our hearts to continue trusting Him in the present. He is so good to us and He loves us with an everlasting, intense, amazing love! He never leaves or abandons us.
So, let's take some time to remember what God has done for us and around us, and let's praise Him for all His mighty deeds!
