Walk In The Light
We have been taking the first part of 2025 to seek God for His plans and desires for this year for our lives, our family, and the church. There have been many people who have heard God speaking to them with words of encouragement and instruction for this year as they've spent time seeking Him. 

As you continue to take time to seek God, remember that our communion and fellowship time with the Lord is always growing and developing. It isn't a one-and-done goal that we achieve and then move on. It also isn't cookie-cutter. The things that God desires to show and speak to each person are as unique and individual as each of us are from each other. Every moment we spend with God, we are deepening our relationship and our trust in Him.

Even if you don't think you've received any new instructions for your year from God yet, that doesn't mean that God isn't still working in your life and heart, preparing you for things to come. So what can we do right now with what we have been given? We may not have all of the pieces yet, but we can walk in the truth that He has shown us so far. The Bible says in Psalm 119:105 that His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

His words that He speaks to our hearts through the Bible and spending time with Him is light for us to walk in.

1 John 1:7 says, But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

The more we spend time with Him, the more light we have for our path, and the more we can have fellowship with one another because we are led by the Lord!

ANNOUNCEMENTS​

We are having a Baby Dedication on Sunday, February 16! If you have a baby or child that you would like to dedicate to the Lord at our service, talk to Pastor Wayne or Pastor Mitchell.

Steve Bell will be holding a concert at OLC on Saturday, February 22nd at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $25 and will be available at the Connect Hub, or you can talk to Pastor Mitchell. 10% of the proceeds will go toward the Ethiopia Missions Trip!

There will be a special Water Baptism Service on Sunday, March 16th at OLC! If you or anyone you know wants to be baptized, talk to Pastor Wanye or contact the church.
