Connecting Lives, Building Faith, Releasing Destiny
It was great seeing you all once again this past Sunday! The week just isn't the same without seeing all of your smiling faces on Sunday mornings. For those of you who were not able to be there this last week, we just want you to know that we missed you and we look forward to seeing you all again real soon! This week Pastor Wayne will continue with the Fruits of Spirit series, and give us part 2 of Self Control, you don't want to miss it!
Church Events:
- Our YouTube channel is officially live! Make sure you head on over and click on the subscribe button and hit the little bell so you can get notified when we go live, or whenever we upload a video. You can find it right here: OneLifeChurch. Since YouTube has updated their terms you will only be able to watch our live streams directly from YouTube so make sure you follow us so you know whenever we go live!
- On November 26th we will be having another day of prayer and fasting with Alberta Prayer and Fasting. Join with us as a province as we pray for our government and all the people of this province. The church sanctuary will be open from 10 am - 2 pm if you would like to come in and pray. We will have worship music playing in the background, and we ask that if you are present to be mindful of others who are present. We will also be live-streaming the Zoom prayer meeting from 12 pm - 1 pm so you will be able to join with everyone when that starts!
- On Wednesday, December 2nd at 7 pm we will be hosting a ladies' night here at the church. Ladies come out for a night of worship, fellowship and an encouraging message.
- On Saturday, November 28th, we will be decorating the church for Christmas. We are in need of volunteers to help bring out decorations, put up the tree and get One Life Church ready for the Christmas season. Stay tuned for more details!
- We are in urgent need of sound technicians for Sunday services and special events, if you are interested please talk to Pastor Mitchell or Pastor Wayne, and we can set up a time to go over training
- We are also in need of a couple more volunteers for our 2-5 classroom for OLC Kids, if you are interested in becoming a part of this amazing team, please talk to Pastor Mitchell
Things to think on:
Christmas is coming fast and with it all the hustle and bustle that tends to come with it. As fast as it comes in, it seems to leave even faster. We are left cleaning up the wrapping paper, empty boxes, leftovers and the mess of having relatives over. We can feel empty just like those boxes once it is all over. The boxes and your house may seem empty, but God is always there. He wants you to know that He will be with you even when the relatives have gone, and the boxes and decorations have been put away for another year. He is holding you in His loving arms, and He is never going to stop. Be blessed!
