Hello again OLC family! It was so good to gather with you this last Sunday, whether in person or online. Pastor Wayne gave an encouraging word about what is on God's heart. He will continue this message this week, we are all excited about what God is doing in our midst and where He is leading us all this year!
Church Events:
- For this week Sunday, January 31st, if you have not already signed up for the services please do so by emailing info@onelifechurch.ca to let us know that you will be attending and how many will be with you.
- There will be a Women's Connect Group starting Thursday, January 28th at 6:30 here at OLC. You can talk to Bonny Wiebe, or email the church office at info@onelifechurch.ca if you want more information about what this new connect group is all about!
- We started our Prophetic Connect Internship last week Wednesday. We will be meeting again this week Wednesday, January 27th @ 6:45 pm, if this is something that interests you we would love for you to come! You can talk to Stacie Mock or email the church office at info@onelifechurch.ca for more information on this amazing ministry!
- Engage Youth is on again for this week Sunday, January 31st at 6:30 pm, we invite all youth ages 12 and up to join us! We play games, have worship and prayer time and a great message from one of our leaders every week. See you there!
- On Monday, February 1st we will be having a men's night here at the church, a night filled with worship and teaching, we are looking forward to having all of you men there with us!
Things to think on
Every week we keep hearing the same thing from people who are coming back to church: “It feels so good to be back in church again! I have missed it!” There is no coincidence that God is calling His people back to His house, God longs for us to have fellowship and to be a part of the Church body and because He longs for it, we long for it as well. It is easier to go through this life with the support of fellow believers, and the best way to do this is to gather in His house! We know that not everyone can join us right now with all the restrictions that are present and that's ok. We hope, and we pray that we can all be together soon. Until then, we offer this blessing to you: "The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you, the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace" Numbers 6:24-26
