Hello again OLC family! We have some exciting things happening towards the end of this month so make sure you check out the events happening below.
Church Events:
- For this week Sunday, March 7th, if you have not already signed up for the services please do so by emailing info@onelifechurch.ca
- Engage Youth is on again for this week Sunday, March 7th at 6:30 pm, we invite all youth ages 12 and up to join us! We just started our new Identity series and want to encourage you to come out to find out what God says about who you are!
- Our Family Forum happens tonight at 7:00 pm, make sure you mark this on your calendars and plan on coming out to see what is all happening here at OLC!
- We will be hosting a Set Free! Retreat! This event will be on Friday, March 26th from 6 pm-9 pm and Saturday, March 27th from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm. The cost is $55 for an individual and $100 per couple. The Set Free! Retreat is set aside to meet with Jesus for dealing with the past hurts, hang-ups, and struggles that we all face on a daily basis. You can register for this event online right here!
Things to think on
Christ died to set us free. Free from shame, guilt, pain and sin! He gave that to us freely, with no cost and no expectations. All we have to do is believe and accept Him into our life. The only way to be free from these things is to first admit that you need to be free from them. Sometimes that can be the hardest thing to do. We do not like to admit our weaknesses to anyone, even ourselves, but God wants us to admit them, so He can set us free and make us stronger than what we were before. Once we are strong and set free He can lead us down the path that He designed for us.
