Happy Tuesday to you OLC! It was a busy weekend with everything going on here at the church, the Set Free conference was an amazing success and the message we had from Lonnie Sims was powerful and engaging. If you missed Lonnie's message head on over to YouTube to watch it, or go to Spotify, Google Podcast or Apple Podcast to listen to it!
Church Events:
- For those signing up for the Sunday services we really appreciate you doing so, as it helps to make sure we stay within the guidelines of the 15% occupancy. A few things we do want to make note of though:
1. If you are signed up for the service we ask that you please arrive by 10:25 am.
2.If you have signed up and are unable to make it please let us know, so we can let someone else have your seat
3. After 10:25 am all seats will be open on a first-come-first-served basis.
If you wish to sign up for the service please email us at the office at info@onelifechurch.ca and we will make sure we add your name to the list.
-For Good Friday, April 2nd, we will have a message from Pastor Wayne and Rose posted on our YouTube page. Watch for the link on our Facebook page on Friday morning.
-There is no Engage Youth this week as it is Easter, we will see you all again on April 11th, 2021!
- Men! On Saturday, April 10 at 6:30 pm, we will be having a movie night at the church just for you! The movie for this event is Faith Like Potatoes. This will be for ages 10 and up, make sure you come out to enjoy some fellowship and a great movie.
Things to think on
This past Sunday was Palm Sunday. The day when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey and the people were rejoicing and shouting Hosanna! They laid palm branches in His path as a sign of the victory that the people thought He was going to bring with Him, and only a week later their words and actions changed. Jesus knew exactly what was going to happen which is why He wept not because of what He was going to do but because the people did not understand the victory that He was trying to give them. Jesus weeps even now for us, His heart longs for us to have victory over our lives! To no longer be wrapped in chains or bondage but to be completely free! Take time to reflect and shout hosanna to the King who has come into your life to save you and give you victory this week!
