Hello again everyone! If you missed the message from Pastor Wayne and our guest speaker, Joe Legault, this past Sunday you can go to our website, www.onelifechurch.ca to watch it, or even better head over to our YouTube channel, and you can see all the past messages there as well.
Church Events:
- We are still planning on having our Baptismal Service on Sunday, May 30th if the restrictions are lifted, if they are not lifted we will be having the baptisms on Saturday afternoon at 2 pm. This will be open for relatives and close family members only. (Make sure you bring a change of clothes if you are being baptized). If you are still interested in being baptized please let us know as soon as possible.
- Don't forget that you can still give to the Church by e-transfer at giving@onelifechurch.ca, or if you want you can call the office at 403-394-7707 to book an appointment to drop off a cheque or give by debit or credit.
Things to think on
The Great Commission. It is what we as Christians are called to do, go into all the world and make disciples and baptize them as believers in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to teach them to obey what God has asked. It seems like a big task, and a lot of us shy away from the "whole world" part. Not everyone is called to go overseas and into the whole world to speak the gospel, some of us are called to do it right in our backyards. To reach out to the lost in our own neighbourhoods and spread the gospel. It takes only one first step. A kind word, a small token of appreciation, to take that first step of showing them God's love and who He is. Are you ready to take that first step?
