Happy Tuesday OLC! We have a lot going on over the next few weeks, so make sure you take a look and see what's going on below!
Church Events:
- We will be starting up our Wednesday night ministries on Wednesday, September 22nd @ 7:00pm, beginning with our Introduction to OLC! If you are new to our church, or if you haven't been to our introduction course, we want to encourage you to come out and find out what we are all about!
- Seniors Connect is getting together this week on Thursday, September 16th at 9:30am! Come out to Norbridge Senior Center for breakfast and great fellowship!
- Engage Youth starts this Sunday, September 19th! We are meeting at the Legacy Park Pavilion at 6pm. There will be food, fun and games plus some special suprises to come during the night as well. Make sure your parents stick around as well, so they can see what's going on for the year!
- Our Men's Connect groups are all restarting again! There are three to choose from: Tuesdays at 6:30am, Thursdays at 6:30pm, and Saturdays at 9:00am! All of them are held here at One Life Church.
- There will be a Dance Workshop put on by Rachelle Malmo on Tuesday September 28th at 6:00pm. You can talk to her on Sunday to get more info.
- There will be an Aglow International Live Streaming event happening on Friday September 25th, and Saturday September 26th. There are 4 sessions in total happening over the 2-day period. The cost is $20.00 per person and it is being held at Free Grace Church. If you want to find out more about this event or Aglow in general, please contact Bonny Wiebe at: mbwiebe1@hotmail.com.
Things to think on:
If you have taken a look at our calendar you can see just how busy we are, and that is a great thing! With that comes a lot of help needed to ensure that our events, classes and retreats all run smoothly. Pastor Wayne shared with us this past Sunday about how it is in us to give. God created us that way. He gave us all unique and amazing gifts and talents so that we can help build His kingdom! We are all designed to be a part of a working body of Christ, and the big word there is working. It takes time and effort to make sure that things go smoothly from week to week and Sunday to Sunday at OLC, and we want to thank our many volunteers who are in the background making it all work. Maybe it's time for you to get involved and you are not sure where to go. Ask God, He has the perfect place for you!
