Encouraging Thoughts
Whether you feel tired and weary, or frustrated and held back by the circumstances beyond our control, Jesus desires to give you rest. Take a moment to remember that He is a good shepherd, and you can live in peace knowing that He is above all things, and you are in His care. We can’t control the external, but in the midst of chaos, we can choose to rest our minds and hearts, surrendering our burdens to our Lord.  
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NLT
