ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
When we think of mothers, something that stands out is the way that they give their life to loving, nurturing, and raising their children. This is a beautiful picture of laying down one's life for another! To all of the moms: God sees the way that you are giving of your life, and as you serve, know that He delights in you and honours you for the love you give!  Take time today to honour those in your life who have given of themselves so that you could be where you are!
"Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre's "Baby Bottle Campaign" is on! The Pregnancy Centre is a Christian organization that supports women and families walking through unexpected pregnancies, and they rely on the support of people like us to do all of the amazing work that they do! Join us from now until Fathers' Day in participating in this campaign by taking home a Baby Bottle from the Connect Hub, filling it with cash, coins, or a cheque, and bringing it back to the church, or by simply giving to the Centre by using this link here.
Thank you for being a part of bringing hope and care to the women and families in our community!
- Our Seniors' Breakfast is happening tomorrow, Wednesday, May 17th (NOT Thursday!). Join us at 9:30 am at the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre for food and fellowship!
- Our "Ladies' Night Out" is happening this Thursday, May 18th at 7:00 pm! Bring some treats to share, and enjoy an encouraging, relaxing ladies' night here at the church!
- We're excited to be having a Water Baptism this Sunday! If you want to get baptized, please let Pastor Wayne know as soon as possible!
- The concert we're hosting is coming up next week on May 25th! Featuring the Canadian Christian bands "The Color" and "An Unexpected End," we're looking forward to a night of amazing and encouraging music! Tickets are still available using this link here, or they can be purchased from Pastor Mitch (get 4 or more tickets from him to get an awesome discount!) We can't wait to see you there!
- Remember, if you have a testimony to share, send us a 2-3 minute video of yourself telling it (info@onelifechurch.ca), and we'd love to share it at one of our Sunday services!
