Connecting Lives, Building Faith, Releasing Destiny
ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
Do you ever wonder if who you are and what you have to offer is enough? In 1 Kings 17, we read of a woman who felt this way. When Elijah asked the widow he met to feed him, she knew that she didn't have enough to sustain her own family, much less anyone else, but when she obeyed the Lord and gave what she had to Elijah, she was amazed to find that God supplied for her in miraculous ways! When we obey God despite our lack, He supplies the rest, abundantly beyond what we can imagine!
"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us..."
Ephesians 3:20 ESV
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- It was such a blessing to witness the change happening in so many lives through the work being done at Streets Alive during our service on Sunday, and we want to honour Ken and Julie Kissick for how they have given their lives to help so many people in seemingly hopeless situations find hope and new life in Jesus! If you want to help us honour and encourage the Kissicks, we invite you to take some time to write them a card and send it to them, or put it in the offering bucket on Sunday and we will get it to them! Thank you!
