ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
This is the time of year where we think of those who are transistioning. There are those graduating from school, from university, from college, those that are going from one grade to another grade. Maybe you yourself are transistioning, you might be going to a new job, moving to a new house, maybe your friend group is changing, maybe you are finding yourself transistioning into a new understanding of who God is and what He wants you to do. Through all of this we need to remember that God is in control. Change can be hard, and it can sometimes be scary not knowing what the future holds. If we keep God at the center of our decisions and allow Him to direct you, there is a peace that will come with any direction that you take. Make sure that you ask God for the answers, He knows what is best and He always has what is best for us in store.
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21
- We are running a VBS! This will be from July 17th - July 20th, from 9am to 12pm. The cost will be $15 per child for the 4 days, and it will be for ages 5-10. If you are interested, registration will be opening soon, so keep an eye out for it! If you want to help out, talk to Pastor Mitchell, or call the office at 403-394-7707
- As summer is almost here, make sure you check with your Connect Group leaders to see what the schedule will look like throughout the summer.
- Pray for Pastor Wayne and Rose as they are away on holiday. Pray for a time of refreshing and rest for them as well as enjoyment as they get to spend some time with family!
- Remember, if you have a testimony to share, send us a 2-3 minute video of yourself telling it (info@onelifechurch.ca), and we'd love to share it at one of our Sunday services!
