ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
YOU ARE LOVED.
Does hearing that make you feel guilty for not doing enough, or for not being a "good enough" person? I can relate. And I just want to remind you today that you are not loved because of what you do or how perfectly your life is put together. You are loved because God formed you in your mother's womb and chose you as His own. You are His beloved child.
When we rely on our feelings, we can doubt the love of God for us, but part of maturing in our faith is choosing to trust in God's love for us even when we don't feel it. So no matter how you feel right now, you can have peace in God's great love for you!
"We have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected in us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in the world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Kenn & Donna Haase are having their annual Garage Sale this weekend! The sale will be happening on Friday and Saturday (Aug. 11 & 12) from 8:00 am- 4:30 pm, and all proceeds will be going to Pastor Joseph and his Bible College in India! The address is 1321 13 St. South Lethbridge. If you are interested in helping out, please let Kenn know: kennhaase@gmail.com
- The Evangelism Group will NOT be meeting on August 19th or 26th!
- Tuesday evening prayer is back up and going! Join us here at OLC tonight at 7:00 pm to be a part of covering our church and city in prayer.
- Remember, if you have a testimony to share, send us a 2-3 minute video of yourself telling it (info@onelifechurch.ca), and we'd love to share it at one of our Sunday services!
