ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
POWER IN THE WORD OF THE LORD
In Isaiah 55, the Lord says "For as the rain and snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth... so my word will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Just as rain and snow provide the moisture needed for plants to grow, God's Word waters His plans and purposes, causing them to come forth!
There is power in knowing, believing, and praying the Word of God, for His words are more than just nice thoughts or ideas- they contain the power of the one who spoke them, and will never return empty.

- Seniors Breakfast is happening on Thursday, February 15th at 9:30 am! Join us at the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre at 1904 13th Ave. N for a lovely time of breakfast and fellowship!
- Lily & Deborah-Rae invite you to come out to OLC and celebrate Brittany Penner and her soon-to-arrive baby boy on February 24th from 2-4pm! Please sign up in the Connect Hub or email Lily at lchizek@telus.net if you are planning on coming! There is a small list of gift ideas in the Connect Hub if you would like to bless Brittany in this way.
- Registration is still open for our Set Free Retreat happening on March 8th & 9th! To register, please fill out a form from the Connect Hub and send your payment to events@onelifechurch.ca, specifying who & what you're paying for in the comment space. - The church office will be closed on Monday for Family Day.
