ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS

As many look at the world with a bleak view, we have the privilege of looking to something greater than this world. Easter may be over, but the incredible work that Jesus did through the cross and rising from the dead is something that we should not lose sight of throughout the year. He has created for us an opportunity to come into His kingdom that will never pass away, and as we live in a broken world, we can have confident hope in a God who is above it all, and in a promise of life that will never fade!  

"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance- an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay."

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• On behalf of our youth, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the pancake breakfast on Good Friday and blessed our youth with generous donations! 

• The Hearing God Course is starting this Monday, April 8th! This is a free 6-week course about learning to better hear and recognize God's voice in your life, and we're so excited for you to experience it! Please sign up in the Connect Hub if you would like to attend.

• "Long Live The King" is coming to OLC next Friday, April 12th at 7:00 pm! This free event is led by a man named Guiller Contreras who is super passionate about spreading God's kingdom through music, testimony, and ministry, and we're looking forward to having a fun, energetic night with him! • Our Man Up! Men's Conference is coming up on April 19th and 20th! Men, we invite you to come out for a great weekend of ministry, food, and fellowship! With guest speaker Lonnie Sims coming, along with wings and brisket being served, we know it will be an awesome time! Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in the Connect Hub.

• ​We invite you to participate in an upcoming fundraiser banquet for the World Missions Continuum Society, a ministry led by Dr. Al and Terry Purvis! The banquet is taking place on April 30th at 6:00 pm at Third Day Church, and will include a home-cooked Asian meal!
