God Is Working In You
As 2025 has officially begun, we naturally look ahead with curiosity, expectation, and maybe even a little trepidation for the year ahead. What will 2025 bring? 

The New Year is an opportunity for a fresh start! We usually have a list of goals and desires that create a picture of what we want the year ahead to look like - or at least an idea of what we don't want it to look like. We all have that list as well: The things we don't want to carry from our past (or present) into the new year. 

 As we make our mental list of goals and look to bring a better version of ourselves into 2025, let's remember to not only focus on what we can do to be better but also Who it is that works in us to make lasting change in our lives.  

The Bible says in Philippians 2:13, For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.

It is God's power through the Holy Spirit inside of us that enables us to do what God desires and to make the changes in our lives that will impact our lives and the lives of those around us for His Kingdom. 

Let's take this month to seek God for His goals and vision for our lives for 2025 and let Him work in us to form His expectations for the New Year!

Morning Out For Moms is canceled this week. It will be back on for next week!

OLC's 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting goes from Sunday, January 5th until the 25th. There will be prayer at the church on the following evenings:
January 19 from 6-7 PM
January 20 - 24 from 7-8 PM
