ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
In Anticipation ...
When April comes to southern Alberta, we start looking for the early signs of spring!
We hope that we have traversed through most of the winter storms and "false springs" and that we can finally welcome the spring season with open arms.
The start of spring symbolizes the beginning of new life. New buds appear on the trees and new shoots of flowers and grass come pushing through the hard, cold ground. The earth gets transformed around us to become fresh and green once again!
There is a sense of hope and anticipation for new life.
Just like there are natural seasons in the earth, there are spiritual seasons as well. There are planting seasons and harvest seasons, seasons of waiting and believing, and seasons of break-through and miracles.
New seasons bring change - sometimes good and sometimes challenging. We might not know what lies ahead, but we can always trust in God, continue to pray, and put our faith in Him - no matter what season in life we are facing.
Isaiah 43:18-19 says,
Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
- Isaiah 43:18-19
In this new spring season, let's continue to seek God and step into the newness of life that He has for us!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Advance Prayer Conference with Richard and Kimberly Wilson from Watchmen Arise International will be at One Life Church this coming week, April 6-9. If you want to advance your prayer life and your authority in prayer, come join us! Invite your prayer teams and anyone interested in prayer.

There will be a special Worship Night at One Life on Friday, April 11th at 7:00 PM. A new worship band made up of various talented musicians in the city will be leading us in praise and worship. Everyone is welcome!
