It's another week OLC, and Summer is here! Not only another week but this month is almost done as well. If you missed our Father's Day message this past Sunday, we want to encourage you to head over to our website, or our YouTube page to watch it or listen to it on your favorite podcast app.
Church Events:
- Engage Youth is having our year-end bash this Sunday, June 27th starting at 6:00 pm, we have some games planned, food fun, worship and learning. It will go to 10:00 pm so make sure you bring yourself, a lawn chair, a change of clothes and maybe a friend or two to join in the festivities
- We will be honouring our grads this Sunday, June 27th so if you or someone you know is graduating please let us know by emailing us at info@onelifechurch.ca
- Also this Sunday, June 27th, we will be having baby dedication! So if you have a newborn or child who has never been dedicated to the Lord, please reach out to us and let us know, and we will be sure to include you in it.
Things to think on
We might be moving into summer, but we want to encourage you all to continue to press into God. It's easy to give up the good habits that you have built through this past year with devotions, going to church, volunteering etc, after all you deserve a break, don't you? It is not that we don't deserve to have a rest, in fact, God encourages us to rest. After all, on the seventh day, He rested. We want you to keep up with those good habits though, don't neglect your Bible through the summer, keep volunteering when you can, keep pushing into and listening to God and what He is asking of you through this summer. Start to prepare yourself for what is to come after the summer is over.
