Church Events:
- Did you know that we have a Prayer Connect group that meets every Tuesday night at 7pm? If you are an intercessor come join us as we pray for OLC, it's ministries and all of those involved with us!
- Women's Connect is meeting again this Thursday at 7pm right here at OLC, ladies we hope to see you there!
- We are having an Altar Ministry training seminar this week Saturday, November 6 from 10:00am - 1:00pm. We are asking all of those who are a part of this ministry to be in attendance, or if you feel called to be a part of this ministry, now is a great time to get involved!
- Engage Youth is on again this week! Come at 6:00 for canteen and stay for our amazing worship, games and great lesson!
Things to think on:
I am going to give you a bit of a science lesson this week. We have been talking about catalysts on a leadership level over the past week and that brings up the question, what is a catalyst? In terms of science, it is defined as: a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change. A catalyst is a very powerful thing. When you talk about a human catalyst, the definition doesn't really change.

-a person whose talk, enthusiasm, or energy causes others to be more friendly, enthusiastic,or energetic.
A person or thing that creates change, but does not change itself. That is probably the easiest way to put it. If you think about it, that is what Christ calls us to be. We are supposed to be catalysts for Him, a person that changes others but does not change ourselves. As you go through this week, think about how you can be a catalyst in someone else's life. Don't let them change you, influence them and change them for the better!
