Encouraging Thoughts:
Over and over the past week, God has been bringing Matthew 6 across my path, recently highlighting verse 33: "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you." After eight verses of telling us not to worry about anything, Jesus informs us that the way to actually do that is by focusing on His reign and rule. If our lack of anything, physical or emotional, becomes greater in our minds & hearts than the power of our King to provide, then "all these things" take the throne. Instead, we can look to our creator, the one who promises to provide. He will not break His promise.
Wait on the Lord; He won't let you go.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
