Hello OLC Family! Happy Summer, and welcome back to another email update!

As always, if you missed our message from last week, you can head over to our website or YouTube page to watch it, or you can listen to it through many of the podcast services available. Our Sunday Livestream is also available through YouTube.

Announcements:

-Pastor Wayne and Rose are on vacation for two more weeks, and while they're away, we're excited to hear from some guest speakers! Joe Legault will be speaking this Sunday!  

-We invite you to join the body of Christ in Lethbridge this Saturday, July 2nd, as we meet together at the Kinsmen Picnic Shelter, Henderson Lake from 10:00am-1:00pm for a time of worship, repentance, and intercession!

-The Church office will be closed this Monday, July 4th.

-Almost all of our Connect groups are taking a break right now. Tuesday Men's Connect is ending for the summer with the last meeting happening July 12th, but the Saturday Men's Connect is still happening throughout the Summer! Corporate prayer on Tuesday evenings will pick back up in August, and everything else will be starting again in the Fall! 

Encouraging Thoughts:

A time of reaping is coming! Every time we choose faith over doubt, every time we choose to fight for the promises of God when it would be so much easier to give up, we are growing roots. It's impossible to see the roots of a plant from the surface, but even if it seems nothing is happening, the part of the plant that will bring lasting stability and nourishment is forming! God has been preparing and stabilizing us, and a new stage of growth is coming. Do not lose heart!
