That wonderful Chinook has come through and started to clean up the remnants of the first snowfall of the year, the arch in the sky over the mountains is such a wonderful thing to see. Even though this is only the start of our Alberta winter, and there will be more snowfalls to come we thank our Heavenly Father that He has kept us all safe in our travels.
Church Events:
- It's that time of year when we get to do Operation Christmas Child! Although this year we are doing things a bit differently. Instead of picking up a shoebox at the church and filling it at home, everything will be done online. All you have to do is go to www.packabox.ca and from there you can choose to either have a box filled for you or you can pick out a few items that you would like in your box! For more info just contact the church office.
- Our YouTube channel is officially live! Make sure you head on over and click on the subscribe button and hit the little bell so you can get notified when we go live, or whenever we upload a video. You can find it right here: OneLifeChurch.
- Don't forget about the time change this Sunday! You get an extra hour of sleep this Sunday so make sure you change your clocks the night before if you have to
Things to think on:
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen," Hebrews 11:1. How big is your faith? What are you hoping for? As Christians, "we walk by faith and not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7), but what does it mean to walk by faith? We all set an alarm clock in the morning knowing that it will wake us up, in all honesty, that is faith. You put your trust in that clock that it will do what it is supposed to do. You do the same thing when you take a bus, you have faith that the driver knows where he is going and will bring you where you need to go and on time. Do you have the same kind of faith in God that He will “wake you up” or that He will bring you where you need to go? Have faith in God, and He will give you what you hope for.
