Connecting Lives, Building Faith, Releasing Destiny
Good morning OLC! It's a brand-new year, and we so excited to see what God has in store for us and for you this year! Everything is getting back into full swing again so make sure you take a look and see what's going on this month!
Church Events:
- For this week Sunday, January 10th, if you have not already signed up for the services please do so by emailing info@onelifechurch.ca to let us know that you will be attending and how many will be with you.
- OLC Kids and Engage Youth are on again for this week!
- Game Changers is starting up again on January 12th! Talk to Bonny Wiebe to get signed up for this course or to find out more information, or you can email the church office at info@onelifechurch.ca
- Speaking of connect groups there will be a Women's Connect Group starting January 14th at 6:30 here at OLC. You can talk to Bonny Wiebe if you want more information about what this new connect group is all about!
- We will be a having a Prophetic Connect Internship starting on January 20th. You can talk to Stacie Mock or you can email the church office at info@onelifechurch.ca for more information on this amazing ministry!
-We will be having a prayer meeting on Sunday, January 24th at 6pm here at the church, we would love to see you there! This marks the end of the 21 days of prayer and fasting that we are doing as a church.
Things to think on
Pastor Wayne shared an awesome message this past Sunday about prayer and fasting. The scripture he used was Luke 6:46-49. It talks about foundations, and any good builder will tell you that a good foundation is key to building. If you don't have the right foundation your building is going to fall. The same goes with our Christian foundation, if we are not putting our lives on the foundation of the Bible and having a relationship with God, our lives can quickly change and what we thought was secure can fall down around you. God is our rock, and He is a firm foundation, set your building upon Him and it can weather any storm.
