Announcements:
-Seniors Breakfast is this Thursday, May 19th at the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre at 9:30 am!
-The Seniors Outing to the Broxburn Cafe is happening the following Thursday (May 26th at 3:00 pm), and if you haven't yet signed up, you have until May 19th to do so! To sign up or get more information, call Riny at 403-394-7126.
-Women's Connect is ending for the summer with a movie night on Thursday, May 26th at 7:00 pm!

-The Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre's annual "Baby Bottle Campaign" is in progress!
For the next few weeks, we invite you to take home a baby bottle from the Connect Hub, fill it with cash, coins, or cheques, then bring it back to the Church by June 19th. There are also postcards with QR codes to scan for online giving, or you can simply give on their website HERE.
It's a privilege to help enable the staff and volunteers at the Centre to continue to bring amazing support to those experiencing unexpected pregnancies!
-We're thrilled to be hosting a Youth Conference on the last weekend of May with special guests from YWAM, Medicine Hat!! If you know any youth who would be interested, please let them know about it, as it's going to be a weekend of testimony and ministry amidst all of the fun, equipping our youth with the tools and encouragement they need to overcome fear and go deeper with God.
The dates and times are Friday, May 27th at 5:00 pm, and Saturday, May 28th at 9:30 am here at the Church.
-We are also looking for a few more billets to host members of the YWAM team on the night of May 27th. If you would like to help out in this way, or need more information, please contact Pastor Mitchell at 403-331-8684.

Encouraging Thoughts:
When we read the Bible, we realize what a temporary place we're in.
We are the bride of Christ, waiting to be face-to-face every day with the one whose love is our reason for living, and until that day comes, we won't truly be home. This is the in-between time, and when we live with that in mind, we can have confidence that no matter what suffering we face here, it will all be drowned out in the immense glory of the rest of eternity that we get to spend in the presence of Jesus Christ, our bridegroom.
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed in us." Romans 8:18
